The doors of Jewel Box opened in 1940 in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia by its founder, Arthur Land.  A truly family-owned business, it was operated by Mr. Land until his death in 1960.  The business was then purchased by the Sale family, where it has been run ever since as a sister store to Crown Jewelers.  As a family business, the Jewel Box is proud to be trusted in the Fredericksburg area as a place for quality, service, and customer service.  We aim to provide treasured pieces that can be passed through generations as well as fashionable pieces for everyday wear and enjoyment.  As we celebrate our legacy in Fredericksburg, we’re moving forward with new looks, new lines and a continued focus on the vision that has helped us remain your local jeweler since 1940.
